Sailing Log Digby Island
Up anchors and left beautiful Percy Islands to make way our
passage to Mackay
No wind and seas flat
required the iron sail for this journey.
Whales breaching off into the distance and small islands
dotting the seascape made a pleasant and uneventful days voyage.
A sea mist came in over Digby Island which made visibility a
bit difficult but it all look very mysterious.
Like a secret pirate island hideaway revealing itself slowly to us. We
found the little tuck away cove and settled in for the night with sundowners on
board joined by the crew of 2 other yachts Marg & Patrick off “Mara” and lone
sailor Croc.
Day 10 Sundowners |
Lively conversation and good fellowship.
But the night got more interesting…………………………………..instalment
next blog.
